Season 8!

After almost 2 years, Season 8 has arrived!

This patch is designed to encourage the use of offensive abilities and make a variety of setups viable. The longest running complaint has been gimmicks or lower skill classes not having any counter-play.

Starting with tank dynamics, we've added a handful of abilities that make your groupmates more useful and can avoid relying on randomness.

We looked at the use of pets to promote a less permanent death and utility-based usage.

Next, we considered Melee Damage and the weapon procs currently in-use.

These changes will likely result in faster fights with the job of each class type being more important in some way.

Tanks are given new decisions while being more available for peels.
Casters are complemented with more classes and have greater utility than ever.
Supports will need to heal more and be required to close out fights.

With that in mind, it's been a great last few months here and I appreciate all the people keeping the fights interesting. :boar:

General Changes

Aura
  • A number of Auras have been added that grant members of the group a passive bonus.
  • These effects are limited to 5000 range, but not disabled when the Caster is Stunned or Mesmerized.

Burning
  • New Condition causing targets to take 2% Max Health damage per every 2 seconds
  • This condition does not break CC

Grace
  • A new enchantment that grants the target 35% movement speed increase, removes all Cripple(StyleSnare) effects, and makes the target immune to Cripple and Stun for the duration.
  • This spell is affected by Speedwarp and does not stack with Speed.

Disease
  • Now reduces MaxHealth by 10%
  • Heal debuff reduced 50% -> 40%

Hex
  • These negative effects are displayed as purple in the GroupWindow and can be cured with Cure Nearsight.

Incapacitate
  • Hex similar to stun, but can be removed with Cure Nearsight and is broken on damage. (20 second immunity)

Cure Nearsight
  • Cast times reduced by .5s

Heavy Tank
  • Fury
    • Magic resist and CC shrug reduced 50% -> 40%.
    • Animation updated.
  • Slam duration reduced 9s -> 6s.

Hibernia Baseline Stun
  • Immunity now based on the total duration.
  • 7 x Duration or Max of 60 seconds. (Similar to Melee Stuns (5 x duration))

Miscellaneous
    QuickCast cooldown reduced 30s -> 25s.

    Armor Ablative increased 150 -> 175.

    Armor Heal Proc increased 200 -> 210.

    Arcane Power (Item Power Charge) cooldown reduced 90s -> 75s.

    Bot Power Regen increased 4 -> 6.

    CL Disease Casttime reduced 2s -> 1.8s

    Removed Golden Javelin.

    Removed Charmed Pet Summons.

    PetAttackCommand range increased 2000 -> 5750.

    Pet Stun Immunity reduced 20s -> 6s.

    Pets with styles now have a 100% chance to use them.

    Resurrection Illness duration decreased for lower tiers
    • 50% Resurrect - 135s -> 75s
    • 30% Resurrect - 155s -> 95s
    • 10% Resurrect - 180s -> 120s

    Astral Mephetic Proc Damage delve reduced 150 -> 140.

    Melee Weapon Resist Debuff procs reduced 15% -> 12%.

    Astral Pet health increased by 25%.

Realm Ability Changes

  • Concentration - Level V cooldown reduced 30s -> 25s.
  • Ameliorating Melodies - Range increased 2000 -> 2250 and now heals the caster.
  • Vehement Renewal - Range increased 2000 -> 2250 and now heals the caster.
  • Ichor of the Deep - Cast time reduced 1.5s -> 1s.
  • Divine Intervention - Range increased 2000 -> 2250.

Class Changes

Albion

Armsman
  • Wingclip - Throw weapon attack that snares the enemy 12s DUR 60s RUT (Does not disarm the user)
  • Snapshot removed.

Cabalist
  • Pet Summon cast times reduced 6s -> 4s
  • Single Target Disease cast time reduced 3s -> 2.5

Cleric
  • Guardian's Blessing - 45s Cooldown 8s Grace and Grants the Ally 50% Chance to Block
  • RR5 also casts Guardian's Blessing on the Cleric.

Friar
  • Instant Resurrection Illness Removed

Mercenary
  • Increased Hitpoints by 200.
  • Dirty Tricks
    • Cooldown reduced 7minutes -> 30seconds
    • Duration reduced 30s -> 7s
    • Fumble chance reduced 50% -> 30%
  • Dual Shadows
    • Changed to Frontal Style.
    • StyleProc changed to 14s snare.
    • BonusToHit from Medium to High
    • GrowthRate increased 1.25 -> 1.30.

Minstrel
  • Successful Flute mezz now grants the Minstrel and Pet 3s of Grace (Marching Ballad)
  • Summon Phantasm
    • This Pet is immune to root and mesmerization spells.
    • Releasing this Pet will remove Mesmerization and Root effects on the Owner.
    • Upon Release the Owner is Silenced for 5 seconds and Summon Phantasm is disabled for 30 seconds.

Paladin
  • Incapacitate - Throw weapon attack that Incapacitates that target for 5 seconds. 60s RUT (Does not disarm the user)
  • Instant Resurrection Illness Removed
  • Increase AoE Heal Range 350 -> 1000.

Reaver
  • Can now use 2 pulses.
  • Soul's Barrier
    • Self 8 second frequency PBT added at 40 Soul Rending.

Sorcerer
  • Single Target Mesmerization cast times reduced 3s -> 2.5s
  • Summon Servant
    • This pet has a 10s back snare.
    • Upon Release the Owner is Silenced for 5 seconds and Summon Servant is disabled for 60 seconds.

Theurgist
  • Can now use 2 pulses.
  • Pet health increased by 15%.
  • Pet Cap is now limited based on your group instead of the player.
  • Pet duration reduced
    • Earth 45s -> 30s
    • Ice 25s -> 18s
    • Air 20s -> 12s
  • Pet Cap reduced 16 -> 8.

Wizard
  • Nearsight range normalized to 2300.
  • Reduced Portal Spawn time 1s -> .25s
  • Arcane Magery Aura - Passive 25% Cooldown Reduction

Midgard

Berserker
  • Increased Hitpoints by 200.
  • Berserk
    • Cooldown reduced 7m -> 1m
    • Duration reduced 20s -> 8s
    • Target enemy must be within 450 units.
    • Activating Berserk now results in a short blink and Decaying Rage side stun.
    • Berserk also removes all negative debuffs.
    • The Berserker now retains the ability to evade.
    • Bodyguard cannot prevent Berserk attacks.

Bonedancer
  • All Pet Summons are now 4s cast time.
  • Body Debuff value increased 40% -> 50%

Healer
  • Pacification spec of 35 or more now grants Grace and Spell Feedback on successful Stun and Mesmerization spells.
  • Pacification Root Durations Increased.
    • Level 3 - 9->22s
    • Level 7 - 14->27s
    • Level 12 - 21->34s
    • Level 18 - 30->43s
    • Level 24 - 38->51s
    • Level 30 - 47->60s
    • Level 37 - 56->73s
    • Level 46 - 69->85s
  • Sputin's Legacy
    • Immunity duration reduced 5s -> 3s
    • Buff duration reduced 60s -> 30s
    • Added 25% Heal Bonus

Runemaster
  • Can now use 2 pulses.
  • Suppression DirectDamage spells snare value increased 35% -> 40%
  • Runeskin Aura - Group Passive 6% Melee and Magic Resist

Savage
  • Savage Snare and Stun Styles penetrate and remove Grace.
  • Instant Taunt now interrupts.

Shaman
  • Instant Resurrection Spell at 35 Mending.
  • Shaman Pets now have a 10s back snare.
  • All Pet Summons are now 4s cast time.
  • All Pet Summons now have a stun proc.
  • Single Target Disease cast time reduced 3s -> 2.5

Skald
  • RR5 Animation now pulses and shows immunity animation

Spiritmaster
  • All Pet Summons are now 4s cast time.
  • AoE Mesmerization spells range increased 1500 -> 1875

Valkyrie
  • Instant Resurrection Illness Removed
  • Blinding Dagger - Throw Weapon attack with 50% Fumble 12s DUR 45s RUT (Does not disarm the user)
  • Bodyguard at 50
  • Reduced RR5 True-Strike 75% -> 70%

Warrior
  • Last Resort - Throw weapon attack reduces Effectiveness by 60% 10s DUR 60s RUT (Does not disarm the user)

Hibernia

Animist
  • All Pet Summons are now 4s cast time.
  • Pet Demezz casttime reduced 5s -> 3s.

Bainshee
  • Increased Pet Fear cooldown 45s -> 60s

Bard
  • Song of Freedom - Ally Moves with Grace for 2.5s cast 8s DUR 60s RUT

Blademaster
  • Blade Barrier parry change reduced 70% -> 60%
  • Increased Hitpoints by 200.
  • Steady Stance - Grants Grace to the Blademaster for 8s 60s RUT (Requires not being disabled or snared)

Champion
  • Badge of Valor grants 50% True-strike
  • Str/Con Dex/Qui and Haste debuff cooldown reduced 15s -> 12s.
  • Acuity Debuff Cooldown Reduced 20s -> 12s
  • Str/Con Dex/Qui Debuffs share Cooldown
  • Haste/Acuity Debuffs Shares Cooldown
  • Instant Snare Cooldown Increased 20s -> 25s

Druid
  • Thorns feedback increase 35% -> 45%
  • Thorns casttime reduced 3s -> 2.5s
  • All Summoned pets now have a stun proc.

Eldritch
  • Single Target Disease cast time reduced 3s -> 2.5
  • Spell Feedback buff now grants 3 seconds of Grace.
  • Spotless Void Aura - Passive 33% Stat Debuff Duration Reduction.
  • Cleanse Mind added to 25 Baseline.
  • AoE Mesmerization spells range increased 1500 -> 1875

Enchanter
  • Enchant Weapon - Target Allies attacks gain a 35% True-strike and applies 3 seconds of burning. 2.5s UI Movecast 20s DUR 15s RUT

Hero
  • Moose duration decreased 30s -> 15s
  • Broken Blade - Throw weapon attack that Disarms the target 5s DUR 60s RUT. (Does not disarm the user)
  • Hero RR5 50% Snare Removed.

Mentalist
  • Nearsight range normalized to 2300.
  • Summon Phantasm
    • This Pet is immune to root and mesmerization spells.
    • Releasing this Pet will remove Mesmerization and Root effects on the Owner.
    • Upon Release the Owner is Silenced for 3 seconds and Summon Phantasm is disabled for 20 seconds.

Valewalker
  • Damaging Grasp and Stunning Blade in addition to stun also has 12s snare attached
  • Immolation - Damage reduced 180 -> 113 and is now instant cast. 20s RUT
  • Instant DD with Debuff replaced by Body Debuff 8s RUT 18/30/40%.

Warden
  • Instant Resurrection Illness Removed
  • Incapacitate - Throw weapon attack that Incapacitates that target for 5 seconds. 60s RUT (Does not disarm the user)

All

Mauler
  • Charge is now offered to this class.
  • Single Target Pulse Snare limited to 4 ticks.
  • Magnetism Absorb cooldown reduced 15s -> 12s
  • Wind Taker back snare value increased 40% -> 50%
  • Gift of Perizor RR5
    • Effect now grants 35% True-strike and 35% Lifesteal for 30 seconds to all groupmates within 1500 units.
    • Damage reduction removed.

Commands

  • /callt (/calltarget) - Create a MainTarget for your group to assist.
  • /assistma (/assistmaintarget) - Assists on existing MainTarget.
  • /ignorema (/ignoremainassist) - Ignores Center-Screen message from MainTarget call target.
  • /spellqueue hybrid - Enable/Disable SpellQueue for Heal and Damage spells only.
